Samuel D. Stinnett was born 22-Oct-1822 and is the son of John Stinnett born about 1795. On 22-Feb-1848 he married Martha Yearout in Blount County, Tenneessee. Some folks get Samuel D. Stinnett confused with Samuel Stinnett who was born 1784 and married Elizabeth Nuchols. The elder Samuel was in reality the uncle of the Samuel on this page.
Martha was the daughter of John & Martha Raulston Yearout and was born 14-Oct-1823.
Samuel and Martha are located in the 1850 Blount County census as well as in the 1880 census.
Both are buried in Cedar Point Cemetery/aka Fellowship Cemetery, Maryville, TN. Samuel died 30-Jan-1884, Martha 04-Aug-1897. They married in Blount County, Tennessee, 02-Feb-1848
