What can a website do for your business?
Your website is the perfect marketing tool. It can be used to supplement your existing advertising. Just include your website address (like www.eplex.com.au) on your business cards, newspaper ads, yellow pages, store front, and anywhere else you advertise.
This is a great way to provide your customers with a place to easily find out more information about your products or services in their own time. You will no longer be limited to the 3 lines you pay for in the newspaper.
You will no longer be confined to the customers in your local area. You will be able to tap into valuable interstate and international markets that were previously unreachable.
You will no longer be restricted by your business trading hours. A website can help your customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The internet gives you access to affordable, professional advertising. It generally costs less to advertise on the internet forever than it costs to run one ad in the newspaper.
More and more people are choosing to shop on the internet every day. Are your customers?

Half of all households in Australia owned a PC in November 1999 and a
quarter of households had Internet access, according to the Australian
Bureau of Statistics.
This was an
increase of 229,000 households with PCs to 3.5 million since November
1998, and an increase of 476,000 households with Net access to 1.8
million.
The number
of adults who had used the Internet in the 12 months prior to being

more likely to be young men living in urban areas. Jul 17 2000:
Online advertising revenue in Australia has grown to AUS8.5 million
(USD5.1 million) per month from AUS6.6 million (USD4 million) per month
this time last year. A new AdMonitor report from research group www.consult.com.au says that second-quarter Internet advertising revenues in Australia totaled AUS22 million (USD13.2 million).
The report found that in the first 5 months of 2000, ten firms have spent more than AUS100,000 (USD 60,000) each per month on online advertising and more than 70 companies have spent AUS20,000 (USD12,000) per month. Three times more firms are now advertising online than were doing so last year.
