  We have a Brush Hog Mower that can handle a wide variety of large acreage annual and semiannual mowing problems. Due to It’s design, we can mow at any angle from approximately 70 degrees below grade to 90 degrees above grade. It is ideal for once a year mowing situations where you also wish to keep the perimeter brush from encroaching upon the open space, or situations where brush against a fence line is a problem.

Lawnmowing
animated gif  Our lawnmowing program can be adjusted to balance your lawns needs with your aesthetic desires and budget. We offer several levels of this service beginning with the basic mowing with no trimming. This means that we will mow whatever the large mowers can safely access, on a schedule determined mostly by the lawn’s rate of growth, but we do not "String Trim" or use a hand mower. This is the least expensive option but is quite popular among our current client base.

  For the top level, we not only do the basic mowing, on a schedule determined mostly by the lawn’s rate of growth, we also trim out around obstacles with string trimmers and hand mow any slopes or other areas that the large mowers cannot do. Generally, we trim every time the lawn is cut. This is the most expensive option.

  For people who want something in between these levels, we can offer the trimming on an every other cutting, every third cutting, or once a month basis. The cost for this option falls somewhere in between the two above, and depends on what is chosen.

Ornamental Tree Pruning
"I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in Summer wear
A nest of Robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree."

Joyce Kilmer.
December 6, 1886-July 30, 1918.

  Trees need maintenance too. Deadwood, "cross over branches", sucker growth, and other undesirable growth needs to be pruned out on a regular basis to maintain the tree’s beauty and health. Many people think that a tree with a lot of little "twiggy" type growth sprouting all along the main branches is healthy. Quite the opposite is actually true. A properly maintained tree does not have much small leafy growth deep within it’s center for a variety of reasons that you can read up on from other web sites. (See my page of links)

  Our program is based on proper pruning techniques that are designed to bring or keep your trees in shape over the long haul. If we find a tree that is extremely thick with, for example, low hanging branches, lots of cross over branches rubbing on each other and lots of sucker growth, we would probably suggest a multi-year pruning program taking out some growth each year on a prioritized, limited basis to avoid putting too much stress on the tree. I could go on and on but you get the idea.

Shrub Clipping/Pruning
  Your shrubbery is an asset that needs annual pruning to maintain its health, beauty and value. Overgrown shrubs not only detract from the aesthetic value of your property, they can also detract from the real value as well. If allowed to grow too close to your building, they can also cause all sorts of problems that can damage your siding, and at the very least, prohibit proper building maintenance and inspection.

  Let us come in and bring them or keep them under control for you. We can do either a random pruning (sometimes referred to as natural pruning) or we can do a more formal clipping if that is the look you desire.
