To pierce or not to pierce



we know that past civilizations, and many un-civilised ones wrapped their beliefs in body jewelry, scarification and other modification procedures. People would shove all sorts of things through their bodies and certainly had very interesting views that serve a perfect explanation. But when did the "American" become interested?

The Nose ring became popular in none other than the cool state of Alaska circa. 1917 and has since become a rapid growing topic. The hippies of the sixties played a big role in reminding the country that a hole in the nose is acceptable. Just as the art of tattooing finally became accepted, "body decorating" seems to be walking the same path and is sure to take over the universe! (well, you get the point)

As for body piercing and tattooing being looked at as "rebellion" in todays society as opposed to even 10 years ago, we believe the country is far past that. The voices of many & many over the years has brought about a CHANGE. Rock on!
