The
Rules (Ahhhhhh)
No really, the rules
aren't' bad, and most of them are just common sense. I'm sure you already
know most of them!
*This is a Christian and
a soaping list and very open. Because of this there will posts about a
variety of things, Soaping, family, jobs, kids....etc. I would encourage
you though when replying to 'personal' posts, that you would do this
OFF list. When responding to soaping or toiletries topics, you are encouraged
to respond ON list. Occasionally I or the list Aunties will ask for
a topic to be taken off list. This does not mean we are angry or upset
in anyway, just that we feel it should be taken private to keep continuity
in the postings.
*If you have a prayer
request, please send them directly to the "Praying Pot". They will be posted
on the list later that afternoon. Urgent requests of course, can be posted
anytime.
*Be kind to our digest
members and when you hit reply to a post. Please make sure you take the
time to cut out everything but the letter you are responding too.
*Do you disagree with
a post by a list-buddie? That's fine, we each have are own opinions. Please
remember though, you opinion may not be right either! Think hard before
you send a angry letter to the list. Are you just mad or do you really
see this as something that is important to discuss. Remember, as Christians,
Jesus lives in all of us. When you speak in anger or try and hurt your
brother or sister, you are doing this to Jesus too! Matthew
25:40
*Do you believe that a
person should not eat meat? Should eat meat? Do you believe that Sunday
is the only day to worship in church? Or maybe it's Saturday for you? Do
you believe in complete healing? You do believe, but look at this differently?
That also is ok. I see this as the way we as Christians perceive the Bible
and more importantly, were we are in our personal relationship with Jesus.
Please no comments like.. "Well you are wrong, the Bible really says this..."
or after another person has answered a question posted to the list, and
you post saying "That person told you wrong, let me tell you the right
way..."
If something is posted
to the list that appears really strange or 'new age', I or one of the List
Aunties will talk with this person.
I think these are pretty
simple rules for the list, I hope you do not see them as to harsh, they
are meant to keep our list growing and loving. If you have any questions
