Newsboys
Innovative would best describe Newsboys. They have never been a copy of anyone or tried to get in on the latest fad.(if you don't count that whole rapping/baggy shorts and ball caps thing from '91) In fact, their lead singer doesn't even read the reviews of their music out of magazines! Newsboys have been honored with numorous Dove and Grammy nominations (and wins). Peter Furler was awarded christian songwriter of the year (SESAC), and they have had 26 number one songs including "It is You" which broke all chart records at a 12 week #1 run! They are the creators of the first traveling arena and the minds behind the first traveling festival,Festival Con Dios.
The also have three certified Gold albums. And have been voted "favorite performers" far too many times to count. Last year they were invited to play the Rock n' Roll hall of Fame and record their first ever DVD. Best of all  they continue to put minitry first in their career!
