Sailor Animalia

Name: Hyakujuuno Kouken
English Translation: Guardian of All Animals
Gender: Female
Height: 5'10"
Eyes: Jade, a light shade of blue-green; they glow when she uses her attacks
Hair: Her hair is also jade-colored like her eyes.  As a senshi she wears the front portion of her hair is braided around her face like a headband.  The rest of her hair is long and straight.
Blood Type: AB
Senshi Title: The Solitary Soldier
Senshi Colors: Dark Green (representing animals of the earth and flora), Blue (representing the animals of the fresh and salt waters), and Dark Gray (representing the animals of the sky and space)
Senshi Fuku: The overall design is the same as the original planetary senshi fuku, however she does not have the white bands or sleeves around her shoulders. The stone in her tiara is jade--a representation of life. Her collar and choker are dark blue, however her collar has a stripe of green and a stripe of gray around the edge. Her bows are dark gray. Her brooch is a small jade stone shaped like an eye with an onyx iris. Her gloves reach her elbows where they end with a circle of blue (on the bottom), of green (in the middle), and of gray (on top). Her skirt is dark green. Finally her boots reach to her knees and have two-inch heels. They are blue with a stripe of gray and green surround the top edge.
Weapons: Jade Eye of the Animals:  It is a large jade stone carved in the shape of an eye with an inlay of black onyx to form the pupil.  The Eye can be mounted on the top of a tall staff made of unbendable and unbreakable silver-colored metal.  Animalia can summon the Jade Eye while she is in civilian form using her henshin brooch.
Attacks: Animalia Ribbon Metamorphosis: Animalia holds her staff in front of her body and calls out the phrase "Animalia Ribbon Metamorphosis" followed by the name of an animal species. A ribbon of the color that corresponds to the color of that animal's grouping (see fuku description) emerges from the Eye and surrounds her body in a cocoon of ribbon. The cocoon breaks open in a flash of white light to reveal the animal with Animalia's jade-colored eyes. This attack can be used both offensively and defensively depending on the animal chosen and the actions of Animalia in that animal form.

Animal Song Deafen: Animalia holds her staff in front of her and begins to spin it in a circle. As she says Animal Song Deafen the staff, as well as her eyes, glow. Various animal voices are projected from the spinning staff toward the target. Enemies hear very loud screeches and roars that are appropriately deafening. Allies, however, hear beautiful and soothing animal sounds that have a minor strengthening effect. Unfortunately, the effects of this attack do not last for long periods of time.

Animal Fury: The Jade Eye of the Animals detaches from the staff and floats above Animalia's hands. She raises it over her head as she shouts loudly, but slowly, "Animal ... Fury." Her eyes glow green. The stone pulsates with light that grows in intensity until it becomes blinding. At this point a green ray of energy blasts of the stone toward the target. This attack rivals, but does not equal, the power of the Silver Crystal because it draws on the life force of all animals. This attack can weaken Animalia to the point of death if she maintains it for a relatively long period of time. ; This attack can destroy anything--ally or enemy, organic or inorganic.

Origin: The Island of Faunalina
Favorite Food: Strawberries
Favorite Subject: Biology
Favorite Gemstone: Jade
Hobbies: Animalia enjoys playing a wooden flute that she carved herself. Other interests include reading both modern and classical works and studying martial arts. Her favorite activity is of course to interact with animals by swimming with them, climbing in trees with them--any activity will do as long as animals are involved.
Family: For much of her life Animalia had no family. She lived alone on her island with her one friend Faunus. (Spoiler for Melodic Essence ahead)  One day she gazed through her silver mirror to reality and saw the life of a man with many names. She watched as he was turned to evil. She could not believe he was truly evil. She saw the pure heart that was buried deep within the shell of evil. He found the courage to release his pure heart and take his place on the side of good. As she followed this strong man's life, she experienced a new emotion. Animalia soon found herself in love with this blue-haired man. As fate would have it, she joined an orchestra when she came to Tokyo. It was here, among the sweet notes of music, that she found her love and he found her. Destiny had called upon Animalia to reveal the man's true nature as a Sailor Senshi.  They found they shared a secret life as senshi and fought alongside each other in many battles. After much turmoil and adventure, they married and Animalia bore three children--female triplets.
Senshi Origins: Soon after the first senshi were appointed, it was decided that animal guides would be necessary to train the senshi. The first Queen Selenity used the Silver Crystal to create a mirror. Sailor Animalia emerged from the mirror. The queen then sent her to the Island of Faunalina with the mirror and the Jade Eye of the Animals. Animalia was told to identify suitable animal guides, bring them to the island, and train them. Her secondary purpose is to protect all animals. Members of every species of animal that ever were, are, or will be are present on Faunalina and are under her protection. She earned the title of Solitary Soldier during her millennia of service on Faunalina without the companionship of other Senshi.  She was finally called to Tokyo to help the Sol Senshi fight in the Sailor Senshi Wars.
Other Details: Sailor Animalia was initially given the ability to speak with animals telepathically. She developed this gift so that she can now communicate with and monitor the minds of humans. Her range, however, is limited to ten feet. She also has a weak, but permanent link with all senshi and animal guides that allows her to sense their general emotional state wherever they are located.
Personality: Kouken lived alone on Faunalina for many millennia with only the animals as companions. She is called the Solitary Soldier because she belongs to no senshi team and has no other senshi to fight along side. This life of solitude did not prepare her for her interaction with the planetary senshi or any people for that matter. When she is in Tokyo she seems to have two personalities. As Sailor Animalia she is a strong and intelligent warrior. As Kouken she can be withdrawn, quiet, and shy. In both her personas she utilizes wisdom and patience. Her telepathic abilities also tend to scare off other people, even the senshi are a bit wary of her gift at first. However Setsuna, the only senshi who previously knew of Animalia's existence, supported her character. Usagi, of course, quickly befriends Animalia and encourages the others to do the same. Kouken teaches the other senshi patience and appreciation for the little details of life. When Animalia returns to Faunalina she considers the planetary senshi her family and she watches over them through the years using her mirror. She used her gifts of telepathy, wisdom, and warrior ability to help fight Sailor Arachne, a servant of Sailor Galaxia. Though Animalia did not have royal blood, in the time of Crystal Tokyo, Neo-Queen Selenity made her a Lady of the Court as a reward for her millennia of service as a senshi.
