Prologue: Silent Summons
A majestic owl
slices through a thick fog with his majestic wings. As the owl flies
closer to the ground, the fog begins to clear and reveals a beautiful
island. The island is a beautiful portrait of green, blue, white, and
brown. As the owl flies closer still many animal sounds can be heard.
Great roars of giant cats, beautiful calls of birds, deep songs of whales,
and other sounds harmonize beautifully in the island air.
Above this symphony rings the pure sound of a
flute. The great owl swoops down toward the source of the music. The owl
lands on top of a great rock where a beautiful woman with copper skin sat
playing a wooden flute. The notes are somber and they seem to flow through
her jade colored hair with the wind.
Suddenly the music stops and the woman jumps to
her feet. The owl flies around to face her and asks, "What is wrong
Ani?"
She reaches to the ground and lifts up a great
staff topped with a large jade stone shaped like an eye. She looks to the
owl with fire in her eyes and says, "The Queen needs me."
