Three for Free
Ferret Publications currently have two folk song books in print, both edited by Lewis Jones and with guitar chords and illustrations by Margaret Crosland.

Here, on our "Three for Free" page, we offer you a small sampler of songs from our two publications. Click on the links below for your free .pdf sheet music and MIDI files. To open and print off the .pdf (portable document format) files you will need Adobe's freely downloadable Acrobat Reader. This provides hard copies of excellent quality and in our view is the best and most convenient format yet devised for the electronic publication and transmission of folk songs. The MIDI files consist of the melody lines of the songs, played through once. We recommend that you use them in conjunction with print-offs of the songs as an aid to sight-reading the music.
