| All Lucky Sevens Any character whose hit points are reduced to 7777 after an attack gets the ALL Lucky Sevens effect. The character goes into a mad rage and begins attacking the enemy non-stop, landing a hit for 7777 points of damage each time. To get this you must first get your character's HP over 7777. This means the ALL Lucky Sevens effect can only happen to high-level characters or those equipped with several "HP Plue" Materia. Examine her and you'll start a long dialogue. Forst, don't use the Save Point. Doing so means you must take your eyes off Yuffie and when you return to the main screen she'll be gone-along with some of your Gil. Second don't insult Yuffie's abilities. She's a ninja and very proud of her skills. Third, don't do anything that might result in your losing sight of Yuffie. Examine Yuffe and she'll challenge you to another fight. He'll go back to sleep again, but on the way out of the Shinra Mansion, He'll stop you and join the team. Now the team can access the hidden back room and collect an Elixir, Magic Source, and the "Full Cure" Materia. Sleeping Old Man Directly east of Junon is a small cave that is only accessible by using the Highwind or riding on a Blue/Gold Chocobo. Inside is a sleeping man who mumbles out your statistics when you speak to him. For example, he can tell you how many times you've fought and how many times you've foughtand how many times you've escaped from battle. He also hints at the concept of "Master Materia." The sleeping man gives you an item under the following circumstance : You must talk to him when the last two didgits of the number of battles you've fought match. For instance, speaking to him after fighting 588 times may get you a Bolt Ring. You can do this once. However, there's one very special item you should look for - Mythril. Speak to the man when the last two digits match, and he may give you a piece of Mythril. You can then exchange this item with the weapon seller east of Gongaga Village for Aeris' Great Gospel Limit Break. Kalm Traveler In the rightmost building in Kalm there is a man upstairs who is looking for 3 items. He starts his search after Meteor is summoned. Give him the Guidebook and he'll give you the Underwater Materia, which eliminates the timer on Emerald WEAPON. to find it moreph the Ghost Ship that you encounter near the Underwater Reactor. If you give him the Desert Rose, which you get from defeating Ruby WEAPON, he will give you a crappy Gold Chocobo. Use "Leviathan Scales" on each of the fires in the Da-chao cave to find the Oritsuru Weapon for Yuffie and the "steal as Well" Materia. Key to the City It's possible to get back into Midgar without using a parachute. Visit the Number 7 gate late in the game and you'll find a man outside who can't seem to find his key. He mentions that he might have dropped it at an excavation site. Well, there's only one excavation sight around and it's in Bone Village. Talk to the site foreman at Bone Village and tell him you're looking for "Normal Treasure." Place your hired hands around the top area and set off the blast. They should all point to the location of the "Key to Sector 5." Now you can enter Midgar anytime you want. Why not visit the WeaponShop in the Wall Market one more time. The owner has another special item for sale, but the price is fairly steep (129,000 Gil to be exact). However, it's a one-of-a-kind item called the Snaek Glove, which makes it easier to steal from enemies. Duplicate Items First of all for this to work you need to have the W-item materia found at the bottom of the tain tunnel when you parachute into Midgar. Then when you enter any battle with W-item equipped, go to the W-item command and select the item you wont to duplicate (you must haveat least two of the item). Then select the charcater or enemy then choose the same item again, but instead of using this item on a character or enemy press the cancel button. The item should have increased by one, from here keep pressing the confirm button the the cancel button over and over to keep duplicating the item. Chocobo Racing When Chocobo racing hold the L1+L2+R1+R2 buttons to prevent your stamina from going down. |
