FIRE FIGHTING PAGE 2
Here are a few poems about fire fighting that have been sent to me through emails or that I have found off of the internet.  I did not write any of these.  If you have anything that you have written yourself or something you have found and would like me to add it, feel free to email it to me.
Firemans Prayer

Whenever I am called to duty God,
Wherever flames may rage
Give me strenght to save some life
No matter what the age.

Help me embrace a little child
before it is too late,
Or save an older person
From the horror of that fate.

Enable me to be alert
and hear the weakest shout
And quickly and efficiently
Put that fire out.

I want to fill my calling
and to give the best in me.
To guard my every neighbor,
and protect his property.

And if according to my fate
I am to lose my life,
Please bless with your protecting hand
My children and my wife.
