Freija De Corte I was born in the hot summer of 1976. The year that also brough forth some excellent wines. I grew up in and around Aalst (Belgium), the same city that also drove me crazy every year around February, when carnival is on top of everyone's mind in Aalst. I was so lucky to get the chance to study in Leuven, some of you certainly still have great memories ... As I couldn't get enough from studying, I did another two years in Chicago. A place were you always need to have your passport at hand, just in case you would like to get a beer, and were the winters are freeeezzing cold, but we nevertheless had a good time too. But then it was time to say farewell to student life and to start working. After a short adventure in the London e-business boom (or bell), I came back to Belgium, where I am still working for Roland Berger. Thanks to them, I can know leave for nine months, to do what I so much wanted to do ... thanks! |

Jeroen Demeester "Dropped" on this world on July 28, 1974 in the West Flamish town of Kortrijk, where I enjoyed the first 18 years of my childhood ... During the following 10 years, I was lucky anough to travel around for fun, study and work. With crazy friends, we backpacked through Europe and Indonesia... the place where I really got hit by the travellers disease. South-Africa and Thailand followed.... During my studies in Leuven , I went on a "Guinness diet" in Galway for 6 months; after which I had to rehabilitate for the next two years at the University of Chicago. Working as a consultant with ATKearney for the next 3 years, I enjoyed a 6 month project in Cairo, where I got addicted to scubadiving. Before diving in a series of e-business adventures, Freija and myself left for 2,5 months to Zambia and Malawi... from that moment on, we knew we would be back! Ferrytales never last long... neither do e-business start-up these days... So, we are back ...even sooner than expected; ready for this adventure which I hope will last forever! |
