El Camino Academy was established over 20 years ago to provide a quality
education for the children of missionaries working in Bogota', Colombia,
or nearby.  Currently there are over 150 students, Kindergarten through
12th grade, receiving a quality American education.  Approximately
half of those students are the children of missionaries who are at work
in or near Bogota, while the rest are composed of children of local Christian
workers, business men and women, or international students.  Most
of the students parents are involved with building churches, job training
centers, homeless and drug rehabilitation homes, working with street children
and providing housing and schooling for those abandoned, seminaries, and
much much more.  It is work that would not be possible without El
Camino providing a stable quality education that also allows the children
to live at home with their parents, providing a normal family life.
