Please note: being on the Internet, we have been asked from time to time to participate in email "pen-pal" correspondence with other Packs around the world.  Unfortunately, we do not participate in this form of correspondence.

Glenn has been in Scouting for 15 years; 1963-1965 Cubs, 1966-1968 Scouts, Greenfield Park, Quebec; 1994-2001 Beaver/Cub/Scout Leader/Webmaster, Baie D'Urfe, Quebec; 2000 to 2002 Scout Leader, 1st Beaconsfield Scouts, Quebec, Canada.

We are part of the Lake of Two Mountains / Seneca Scouters Club. The new name of the area is OHIYO which is pronounced o-hee-yo.  It is a Mowhawk word roughly meaning the joining of two rivers or paths.

           

The mission of our website is to provide valued information on the Cub Scout movement to the children and leaders involved in this aspect of Scouting.  In addition, we aim to provide additional value to Scouting on the Internet and in our community, through a number of unique perspectives in Cub Pack activities, skill development and management.  These perspectives include:

     How to build Kubcars and run a race
     Mohawk/Ojibwa/Nanabush legends to read to the Cubs
     Special pages on star watching, weather and various games
     Nature: animal tracking, description of wolves, loons, beavers

     Skills that all Cubs should know such as First Aid, canoeing and compass reading
