St. Johannis-Kirche

 

St. Johannis-Kirch, also known as Martin-Luther-Platz, was built in the 13th century. Gothic baptismal font, (1367), barock pulpit (1694), classical high altar (end of 18th century) with a modern altarpiece.

Side of the church

Schweinfurt was once invaded by the Swiss and this is where they came to sharpen their swords, on the side of the church.
