W. F. (Frank) Gilbert

LAURENS, July 11, -- W. F. (Frank) Gilbert, 51, farmer, of Laurens county, died at a laurens county hospital this morning at 3:45 after an illness of three wees.
He was born and reared in Georgia and was the son of the late W. E. and Sally Wilburn Gilbert and was married to Miss Hassie Phillips who died seven years ago.
Mr. Gilbert is survived by four daughters, Mrs. J. H. Church, Mrs. O. T. Holloway, Mrs. Maude Gilbert, and Mrs. Carl Edwards; two sons, Forrest and Carl Gilbert, five brothers, Albert, J. E., A. R., C. L., and H. L. Gilbert. One sister survives, Mrs. Conlee Gilbert. Also survived by 10 grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Wood mortuary in Greer.
