Just a little update, 6/8/99
I have removed the head  and blown out the mouse nest in the engine. I have decieded to rebuild this completely and not rush it, So beginning this weekend I will be removing everything and clean and sandblast the frame repaint it  Black.
I have to get the rim and the tires I need.   The steering wheel is wood
The Dump Box is going to be rebuilt or relined with NEW steel shells.
As I rip this apart I will take some pictures and post them here.
After all this is finished I should have a good looking 1926 TT Dump Truck to drive and show
Just an update today is July 10th,
I have been working on cleaning the frame and getting it ready for painting, the engine is back together and ready for the test start, Grant from Ct. is supposed to be coming down tomorrow with another rear from me. Mine is shot. then if we have the time we're going to try and start the engine. I rebuilt the coil box and the firewall brackets, the Hog's head still has to come off so I can check out the drums and the bands. I plan on putting Kevlar in . I think the ones in there are cotton.
The Box will be going to a local sheet metal shop this week to be redone. I left it up to them how it will be fixed.  I should have this project finished enough to run the truck around the neighbor hood by the end of this month, if all goes well. I plan on having it finished by the end of August less the custom cab. That's going to be a bit longer for the fine custom work Fred does. I don't want to rush him and he won't let me anyway.(he's bigger than me)
Well back to making parts now to pay for this and other things I need around here

Just a little update on My Dump Truck.  I have the engine and Transmission finished and back in the truck and the wiring is all finished . Now I'm doing some of the smaller stuff like putting the lacing on the firewall and the radiator surround, The Radiator will be going in this week maybe even tommorrow I have been waiting for the Apron only to get the wrong one. I think that can be added later. So I'm going to instale the radiator and the surround, and fill her up. and try to start this the beginning of next week. The Bed is still in my yard , but that is next.  No Pictures yet last roll did not come out.
September 3,1999
well the new fenders came the other day and now I have to fit those. I have two of one kind of fender brackets I think the old fenders had one mounted backwards. I don't see any major problems in mounting these . The only thing I have not found yet is new or even used TT Running boards.  Mine are ok but not great. I guess that will be on my Hershey Shopping list if I get to walk around this year. The entire wiring system is finished less the battery which I think I'll get tomorrow. The Hood is painted a nice Almond color and I'm going to paint the Fenders Gloss Black.  Next week I'm going up to Lang's Old Car Parts and get the rear tires and some of the small stuff I need to finish this TT up.  Then stop at Grant's for the two rims he has for me. Again No pictues the garage must be tooooo dark to take any. I will have a friend who has a better camera  take some next week.
