Let's Pray

Lord Jesus, you said, "where two or more gather in your name, you would be in their midst."
Fill us Lord with the Holy Spirit, we are children of God.
We claim the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
We are your servants Lord, use us.
We love you Lord with all our hearts and souls.
Please heal us, physically, mentally and spiritually from the tops of our heads to the tips of our toes.
Take anything that is not of You, Lord Jesus, from us.

We pray today for all those things,
you know better than we do what our needs are.
We ask you to lead us to the path You want us to follow, Lord.
Help us to be strong.
Give us energy, Lord to do Your will.
We pray for the health, happiness, and safety of our loved ones.
We pray to be the people our loved ones would like us to be
and that our loved ones become the people we would like them to be.
Help us to be heros, Lord, as we stand in the light of your undying love.
Help us to share You with others, give us the words to say.
Help them to have hearts made of flesh, Lord.
Give us wisdom to speak and reason,
discernment to know the truth,
and love as Yours Lord, to be You for those in need of help.

Lord Jesus, please let Your light shine through our eyes,
attracting those who need to know the truth and knowing when to speak Your word.

Lord, we are merely human, help us to overcome these human failings;

  1. Vanity

    or Pride - the excessive belief in one's own abilities that interferes with the individual's recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise.
    (We are merely grains of sand on the beach. We are all equal in God's eyes.)
  2. Envy

    or the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation.
    (It's so much easier to love the things you have.)
  3. Gluttony

    or an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.
    (We don't need a lot to sustain us.)
  4. Lust

    or an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.
    (Satan's way of making you sin.)
  5. Wrath

    or Anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury.
    (Count to ten, say a prayer, God is watching you, He is everywhere.)
  6. Greed

    or Covetousness - the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual.
    (Be satisfied with your lot in life, but strive for what will benefit everyone, not just yourself.)
  7. Sloth

    or Laziness is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.
    (Don't put off till tomorrow, what can be done today.)
Lord Jesus, we get down on our knees begging forgiveness for all those sins we've committed,
even the smallest sins Lord,
because we want to be the people You want us to be.
We ask You to guide us, protect us, and forever keep us in Your loving presence,
so that we may accomplish our daily chores without anxiety, but with enthusiasm;
without pain, but with joy;
without disgust, but with enjoyment;
and without waste, but to use every moment of time to benefit our immortal souls,
and also those around us.

Please give us peace Lord, heal us, rejuvenate us, fill us with Your love.
You are the lamb of God, Who takes away the sins of the world...
Happy are we who come to Your supper.
When we are depressed Lord, give us eyes to see Your glory,
which will lift us up out of depression.
When we are sad Lord,
give us ears to hear the sweet music being sung by Your choirs of angels,
who sing joyfully to the Lord.
And when we are happy Lord,
let us get down on our knees and thank You with all our hearts and souls,
in the knowledge that You alone are Lord,
You alone are worthy,
and we are so happy to serve You all the days of our lives...
(Here add your special intentions)

Amen...

Talk to God all day long...You never walk alone...
