| The captain is in charge of GRS operations. This refers to the ambulances, members and calls. The captain also issues equipment to members. The duties are shared with the assistant captain. The assistant captain helps the captain out with the captain's duties and can act in the absence of the captain. The first aid lieutenant is in charge of stocking and restocking the ambulances. Duties also include equipment repair and purchase of supplies and equipment. The training lieutenant is in charge of agency training. This includes arranging training drills as well as keeping training records. The safety leuitenant is in charge of agency safety on emergency scenes. This individual also keeps MSDS records as well as member health records. |
| This individual is the head of business at the squad. He runs the meetings and arranges any special meetings. He also oversees all the committees. This individual is the assistant to the president and acts when the president is in absence. He is also in charge of squad insurance matters. This individual is in charge of maintaining all the financial records of the squad as well as paying the bills and filing tax forms. This individual is responsible for taking and posting meeting minutes and sending out any important information to all members. This person is in charge of donations and acknowledgment of the donations. This group is in charge of hiring and firing of paid staff as well as any disputes between members at Granville Rescue. This person is in charge of the building and grounds at GVRS. He ensures all is properly working in our station. |
