Puppy School
When we first started to go Ben tried to be a little dominate with the other puppies, by the third class he was really much more playful and less dominate, and really seem to enjoy being there.
The basic commands Ben learnt at Puppy school was Sit, Stay, Heel and Drop, the class also taught owners on grooming, vaccinations, worming, flea treatments and other puppy behavourable problems.
The puppies where also taught how to deal with every day frightening noises, such as thunderstorms, lawn mowers, vacuum cleaners. This was done by positive reinforcement, by which a tape recorder was in the center of the room with puppy treats around it, then as the puppies went to eat the noise would come on and the puppies would be frightened but after a few times the puppies returned to the treats and forgot about the noise. This the trainers said this was the way you deal with problems you might have with your puppies.
At the final class the puppies had to take a test where they had to run through with the owners all the commands they had learnt through the course. All the puppies passed and we took a gradualtion photo, which you can see below.
