What Factions to attack to get the best reputation Important Tips on Reputation Getting a Neutral Rep with Pirates A neutral rep with all the pirates allows you to travel around Sirius without getting attacked by NPC (non-player character) pirates. Destroy a few ships from each of the pirate faction enemies and watch how your reputation has changed. Getting a Good Pirate Rep WITHOUT Becoming a Fugitive We've all done it before.. you fix your pirate rep but realize you have gone hostile with a major house corporation or police force. Keep a careful eye on your reputation and don't bribe anyone without carefully checking what factions it will affect. Factions to Destroy a few of right from the Start.. Remember transports and freighters affect reputation more than fighters, as well as being easier targets.. Liberty Police, DSE, Universal, Gateway, Liberty Navy, Planetform and Bowex Remember to only destroy a handful of each and check your reputation regularly! Factions you can destroy without worrying.. Xenos, Gaians, Mollys, Hogosha, Alliance, Hessians, Bundschuh and Unioners ..waste these guys as much as you can and you won't damage your rep with the important factions such as house corporations, police & military and the major pirates. Factions you should try to avoid attacking.. Outcasts, Corsairs, Hackers, Rogues, Ageira, GC, Dragons and GMG Having a bad reputation with these guys means you will be in a lot of trouble on the lanes and won't be able to get some of the better weapons available in Sirius. Important Tips from our Members.. Gunbeard: "Never take bribes, they swing your rep all over the place and the more you play, the deeper you'll sink into trouble.. mark my words!" Chilli: "Storage depots online are often already raided, check the other systems for intact ones, for instance New London, Shikoku, New Tokyo and Tau-31 have useful depots for neutralizing your reputation. Just watch your rep after every few depots!" Choiceofweapon: "A bad reputation with bounty hunters means you'll be attacked around house capital planets, but you won't go hostile with house corporations and police." Lovable Rogue: "Going hostile with Rheinland Military & Police can work in your favor as the GMG and important pirate factions will be grateful, allowing you to buy their superior weaponry." Knuckles: "If you are fully green with a faction, it can gradually mess up your reputation, so be careful when you bribe or work for a faction, it can be unpredictable."
