There is Something inside of me!
There is Something inside of me!
It never sleeps and is always awake: watching
over me as my guarding-angel;
It brings me to the ocean of bliss, to a place of
deep inner peace;
And, it bestows its affection incessantly with
no hesitation.
Oh, there is Something inside of me!!Ê
It is my greatest Well-Wisher and pulls me
away from the path of thorns;
It is my ever-present Guide who inspires me to
stand up and face the ordeals of life. And, It
is my charming Beloved who quenches my
insatiable thirst for pleasure and joy.
Oh, there is Something inside of me!!
It is the Knower of all that is known and
unknown;
It is the repository of all wisdom and
knowledge; and,
It shows me the way to the Garden of Bliss
and Truth;
Oh, there is Something inside of me!!
This something has no real name. It is my
living God. It resides equally in you and in me –
in all that is seen and unseen, in all that is
manifest and unmanifest.
Oh, this Something is indeed me and it neither
dies nor is it ever born.
It shines with its own effulgence and is the
personification of all the really lives.Ê
This Something is our Hidden Treasure.
It is nearer than the nearest and farther than
the farthest.
Anyone who looks for It will surely find It.
This something is priceless.
One does not have to pay even a farthing to
possess this gift of greatest value.
It is the unending Source of true security.
Let us search my friends; let us search within.

102.
I never had time for you! My beloved,
my Lord.
I was always too busy in my life and could
never spare even a moment for You.
I would always say, “I have no time!
In my childhood, I was either busy playing or
tired sleeping;
When you, as my mother, would call me I
would say, O, I am busy. I have to meet my
friends Or I have to go out and play. I never
seemed to have time for you.Ê
In my youth, I was busy studying or catching
up with my daily chores. Never could I spare
a moment. Even in my loneliness
I seemed to be occupied, busy, running after
something and I never had time to stop and
even think of You, the guardian of my life! I
never had time for you and, yet, You always
waited patiently. Without a complaint, ever.
In my adulthood, I was caught up in the
responsibilities of managing my family and
worldly affairs. I was so engrossed in keeping
up with the pressures of job, work and family
that I could hardly find a free moment to go
deep inside and enjoy the sweetness of your
powerful presence within me.
I wonder now, why I never had time for You,
my Love!
You are the Life of my life!
You are the Source of all the strength and
happiness!
You are the Origin of all that is me!
And yet, I wonder, why have I always taken
You for granted?
Why have I never responded to Your Call!Ê
I have never ever, held You in my embrace
and said, O my Beloved You are mine I am
yours. Wherever I may go and whatever I
might do, You are always with me and I shall
always be with You! Never stay apart from
me, my love! I am Yours. I shall remain Yours
forever.
I wish now that I had always stayed with for
You, my Lord, even in the bustle of life.
How much joy of life did I miss by ignoring
Your Loving calls!
Now, in the twilight of my journey, as I recall
my childhood pranks, I laugh and cry and
vow with all the power that is left in me:
O’ my love, O’ my lord! I shall always have
time for You.
I shall always make time for you no matter in
what form
you come to me! I recognize You today and
will never disappoint you.
I love You. I love you most dearly,
O my Eternal Friend.
Hold my mind with Thy invisible love and let
me carry thy messages from door to door,
from mind to mind. Let me serve Thee, in all
Thy forms, every day and every night.

103.
You are the Sun of my life, the mother of
this visible world.
You are full of light and power, emitting your
energy in all directions for others to use, to
live and to breathe.
You do not make it easy for anyone to stay
close to you for you would scorch them with
your unimaginable strength.
At other times, you hide behind the clouds for
days on end.
When winter blizzards sweep the earth, you
make one and all long for the sweet smile of
your sunshine.
You know how to push or pull all the mortal
creatures of this visible world.
You light up the moon with your fiery glance
and bring joy to the hearts of the creatures of
the night.
You are indeed the sun of my life --- selfless,
Enduring and ceaselessly in action.
My dear, what pact do you have with the
Creator?
You are surely its trusted co-creator.
Tell me your secrets, my love, so that I, too,
may also become the trusted co-partner of All-
Benevolent Creator of the Universe.
Tell me your secrets, O sun of my life!

104.
I always wanted to help and serve those
in need but there was some hesitation from
inside of me, keeping me from taking the first
steps.
Whenever I was given an opportunity to
serve, I would hesitate and feel that I did not
have enough to share.
Even when my bag was full, I hesitated to
open it and to share its contents with my
fellow living beings.
When the cruel hands of nature took it all
away from me, I unconsciously hoped for
cosmic grace, for some unseen hand to lift me
out of my troubles.
I never really learned the lesson of giving
when I was alive and always hoped for a
better life in the future.
Now, after repeated failures, I realize that:
We make a living by what we get and we make a
life by what we give;
The spirit of giving is a gift of the Higher Mind
and it gets richer by every act of giving;
“To give” is a way to overcome insecurity and
fear;
Giving is also the key that opens the door
through which abundance can enter;
Voluntary Giving is a reward that must be
honored;
Giving with love is a practice that must be
cultivated;
The act of giving is a sacred blessing, step on
the ladder of greater magnanimity of mind,
towards the realm of pure joy.

105.
You have asked me, dear one,
What is an ‘appropriate’ action?
It is indeed a difficult query.
Appropriateness carries within itself the
freedom of choice,
of being able to say yes or no;
Appropriateness carries within itself the
responsibility of acting in harmony with the
end purpose;
Appropriateness exudes the concern for the
welfare and happiness of all that are affected
by the action;
Appropriateness is the fine application of truth
and rationality to the problems facing us from
day to day, whether big or small;
Appropriateness is the way of discriminating,
the task of discerning what is in tune with
destiny or dharma, with an urge to evolve into
one’s highest possibility;
Appropriateness is to do what is just right, at
the right time, in the right measure, with the
right spirit, in the right way and for the right
effect;
Appropriateness is what shall be ultimately
judged right even when the action has long
been forgotten or receded into oblivion from
the public memory;
Appropriateness relates not only to the
motivation, intent or the philosophy underlying
each action but also to the process, to the
methods employed and to the results and
consequences of the action in question;
To act appropriately is indeed to walk on the
path of virtue, on the road of cardinal values.

106.
O my love
You arrive amidst us with all the auspicious
signs.
We have waited for you for a long time;
Your advent sends shivers of joy and hope
through our hearts.
You bring us the wisdom of the sages;
The love emanating from you shines like a
brilliant ray into the world darkened by
hopelessness and fear.
Enable us, O Blessed One, to help you grow
so that you may lead the world from darkness
to light, from ignorance to knowledge and
from mortality to immortality.

107.
O’ my dearest One!
You are the sun, I am a little spark.
You are the ocean, I am a mere drop.
You are the desert, I am but a grain of sand;
I feel Your love and closeness just as the
water lily feels the connection to the
moonlight.
I feel the rhythm of You as I feel the pulsation
of my beating heart.
I feel bound to You as fish is to the water and
The planets are to the sun.
O my love,
There is no place in the world where I would
rather be than in your closest proximity.
Even when You distance yourself from my
mind, O Lord, allow me at least to feel Thy
omniscient presence with all the receptors of
my being.
I wish to live only to please Thee, my Eternal
friend and Companion.

108.
Your love touches my soul
Sending shivers across the earth
Embracing the farther reaches of this Universe
And returns to embrace Thee
With all of my love
And with the heart brimming with joy.

109.
Truth is the song of Eternity
That speaks to us through every moment.
Truth is the splendor of Creation
That shows its beauty, in every here and now.Ê
Truth is the wisdom-flower of the Creator
That outpours its intelligence in every bud.
Truth is the ineffable bliss of the Supreme
Love
That manifests as pleasure in every sensation
of the senses.
Truth is ever-present,
All-encompassing,
Hidden in both light and shade
Invisible to the novice, but
Always visible to the Adept (siddha).

110.
Souls meet on the ocean of life
Rejoicing,Sharing their Love and Aspirations
Fostering and Nurturing life-long partnerships
Continuing their journeys to the Infinite.

There are moments-
when time becomes still
when heart beats almost stop
when individual minds become One Mind
Absorbed,Ensconsed in deep Inner peace

There are also other moments-
when our little egos' demand attention,
asserting their power
when diverse melodies burst forth from within -
sometimes harmonising and at other times sounding
unfamiliar notes.

There are even moments in life when
we feel lonely,confused or indoubt
yet
If we remain tied to the Eternal Cosmic Spirit,we
shall surely find the way to the Bliss Divine-to our
favourite
spot on the Ocean of life.

Souls meet on the Ocean of life
Rejoicing,Sharing their love and Aspirations
Fostering and nurturing life long partnerships
Continuing their journeys to the Infinite.

Walking along the rocky road of life
We have met
and become life long friends.

Let us be grateful for this wonderful opportunity
May we unite our strengths and overcome our
shortcomings
May we hasten the emergence of a civil society free from
unneeded sufferings to anyone
and,
Let us sip the joy from the cup of life to our hearts'
content and
May our journeys together be a stepping stone for the Highest
Fulfillment of All Beings.

At times,
we shall have to be vocal about atrocities,injustices and
wrongs;

Other times,
we shall have to think deeply and creatively ,in order to
discover benevolent options especially in times of turbulence and
crisis
and take an appropriate stand.
and
there will surely be situations
when we shall have to wait patiently and silently while the
nature ripens the individual and collective ka'rmic reactions.

Whatever may be our circumstances,
May our life journey always carry rays of hope,excitement,joy
and service to fellow beings

And at all times,
May we also not forget to pay our gratitude to our kindest
home-this UniverseÊand
all the tiny microvitum that keep it alive!
