| I don't know why, but I decided to do my own version of a personal ad... My intention is not necessarily to try to pick up guys.. but it can't hurt. Really, I just want amuse myself... and remind myself that I, too, am human and it's ok to actaully be attracted to someone. Yah... uh huh... right... |
| What I like in a guy... Ok, certainly, the true test of whether I want to get romantically involved with someone is all based off of their personality, I will admit that there are physical qualities that I kinda go after. So, yah, in other words, looks will kind of determine whether or not I approach someone. But, then again, when have I been known to approach anyone? NEVER! So, I don't have to worry about it. Neither do you because, well, personality is the overall determining factor to whether or not I want to get romantically involved with someone. But, just for your information... I will tell you what I'm physically attracted to. I like guys with long hair. I grew up in a long hair family... of course I'm going to like guys with long hair. It's very sexy. And really, the only guys who actually look good with long hair are the ones who are kinda scrawny... Hmm... oh yah... I like guys with dark brown or black hair... that's cool, too... Oh and believe it or not... I do prefer guys who are younger than me to those who are older. It's odd... I know... But this is all superficial... However, it's ok to be superficial... at times... But what I really go is the personality. I mean, what's the use of having a totally gorgeous male specimen when you can't carry on an intelligent conversation? There is no use! I really like guys who are humourous. Even if no one else gets their sense of humour, but I do... I'm completely enamoured. Also, I like talking about socio-political issues. I just like to be able to hold an intelligent conversation with someone. I mean, I don't care what kind of grades a person got in high school or college, if we can discuss philosophies, politics, social issues, stuff like that every once in a while, I'm happy. I also like having fun and being silly, so if a guy can be silly, humourous and carry on an intelligent conversation with me, it's great stuff! And playful too. (Gosh, I'm so demanding!) Also, guys who like me for the way I am are wonderful. Those who encourage me to do what I want to do and can help me with my problems and things like that. Guys who just make me feel like I'm a part of this world, not an alien are the ones who'll win over my heart. So, yah... This is so awkward talking like this. Well, another thing is I like guys who are similar to the way I am. I like a little bit of difference because there's not sense in being monotonous by being exactly alike, right? Guys who share common interests with me are also the ones most likely to help me expand my horizons. I'm sheltered and often times won't try new things unless provoked. So, I need a little help getting pushed to try new things. So, yah.... Well... You now might be asking what I'm like as a girlfriend... hell if I know! I'm 20 years old and have never had a boyfriend or been out on a date. That doesn't make me a loser.. just means that I'm a late bloomer of sorts... yah... Just to let you know... not that you'd ever consider dating me or anything... I do like to take things very slow until I get to know you. Sometimes, it just might end up in a friendship... not that it's a bad thing. It all depends on how I feel. Also, never push me to do something I don't want to do. It will end messy. I figure that the best first date or even just meeting someone would be having coffee, or tea (but not me, because, as I said, I like to go very slow and I really don't approve of pre-marital sex nor would I ever sleep with anyone after one date... that's just tacky... really... sorry). Anyway, also, even if the first date doesn't go well, unless I was completely annoyed, I would agree to a second date because, well, my mottoe is to try everything twice. You never know when you're having a bad day or something... or food poisoning... or cramps... or a dog bit your leg... or you got abducted by aliens the night before... YOU NEVER KNOW!!!! Things I would like to do if you asked me out... Well, I'm kind of a playful person but also an intellectual, so sometimes, this depends on the mood. However, for a fun date, I'd like to go out for Chinese food and then go play in the playground (after digesting of course ;) ) or maybe pizza and bowling... that sounds like fun, no? For a more intellectual date, I'd like to see a "smart" movie (think along the lines of "Donnie Darko" or "AI" or something like that... something that requires some thinking and is open to discussion afterwards) then go out for coffee to discuss it! Yup! Hehe... I'm not much into all the fancy stuff... I'm sure all girls like to be treated to that stuff every once in a great while, but, it's not something I'd demand (or like) for every date... haha! What else? You can see what I look like on various pages of this site. I will warn you though that I am 5'11"... so, don't get too fooled. Personality wise, I'm pretty agreeable, I hope. I do have a tendency to talk a lot (and kinda fast), but I always make sure you'll get a word in or two (haha.. actually more). Umm.... I'm rather cheerful, so yah... I think that's about it. |
