The
photograph on the left was taken around 1910 in Winlock Washington. From
left to right are: Ludwig, ?, ?, Jacob, & Theodore Haunreiter.
The Haunreiter family came to the United States during the decade from
1900 - 1910. We know from census records that they arrived at different
times, so this photo probably represents the first photo taken after they
all were here. This photo was in a collection of family photos that Richard
Haunreiter possessed. Richard is the grand-son of Ludwig Haunreiter.
The Haunreiter family of the United States came from Germany around 1910
from Tann, Bavaria. Jacob Senior moved to the Winlock, Wa area with his
wife and three sons and two daughters. The two daughters married two Prinz
brothers. Their descendants still reside in Washington and around the Winlock
area. Ludwig Married and had one son John. They moved to Hoqiam, Washington.
John married a woman name Barbara. They had two sons Robert and Richard.
Richard is the sole surviving member of this line. As far as I can tell
Theodore married but had no children. Jacob married Martina Hottinger and
had two daughters and four sons. They settled in Chehalis, Washington.
Descendants of Jacob still live in the state of Washington.
