      Appliqué

Appliqué is something that has become my latest interest. It's nice to spend time relaxing with a needle, thread, and fabric.  I think more and more quilters are discovering the enjoyment of painting with fabric.
If this is your first try at appliqué, please remember : there are many ways to appliqué. Appliqué doesn't have to be by hand, it can be by machine. Try the  freezer paper method, with the paper on top or try it  on the bottom.  Try needle turn. Use whatever method works best for you. And practice, practice, practice!
There are  many different styles of appliqué. Explore some of these wonderful appliqué sites. Learn more about appliqué from some great appliqué artists. Have fun!
