Class Of: 1961 Location: Atlanta, Georgia Comments: My fondest memories are of Waterford and growing up in the 50's and 60's there. At the top of the list is Waterford High. Currently live just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Since 1977. Director of Engineering for a large company. Have 3 children (1 boy/2 girls) and 2 granddaughters(2 year-old twin girls). Life has been good! I do hope and pray that the same can be said for my classmates and school mates. I still have family and friends in the Waterford area and try to visit every year or so. I have been employed by the NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) for the past 31 years - took the summer off after graduation and on to work in September. Am now looking forward to retirement in 2006. My sister Nancy (Class of 1965)is in Phoenix, Arisona; Jim (Class of 1968) is in Malta and Jerry (Class of 1976 - I think) is in Mechanicville. Got out and came to Florida for a visit and haven't left yet. Married 5 kids, 8 grand kids. Only 8 grand kids cause our son, just turned 21, and hasn't been married yet. LOL. Worked the last 27 years with the Florida Dept. of Corrections. Should have retired 2 years ago, but they are handing out "free money" so I decided to stay around awhile longer. Played Baseball and Soccer in H.S. If anyone can give me any information on Tom Foster, he was the baseball coach back then, I would appreciate it. I still am into sports, Umpire for little league. Name: Bill Paquette Class Of: 1962 Location: Ballston Lake Comments: Waterford was a great small town to grow up in in the 50's and 60's. Whether you were sitting on the bridge at Shulusky's (the real Arnold's of Happy Days fame), visiting the infamous "black bridge" or enjoying one of the many playgrounds,life was good. The old school in the village assured a vibrant downtown community and supported the Michon's and the Ike Davis' of a time now gone by. After bouncing around a bit I became gainfully employed at New York Telephone. I spent 30 years there as a lineman (for a short time) and as a manager in their sales division. I retired in 1997, contracted to Bell Atlantic for a year and now work as a manager for AT&T. I work in the inmate market and spend considerable time in correctional facilities. Several of my teachers predicted this would happen but I disappoint them since I get to leave at the end of the day. I have been married for 27 years and have three lovely and talented daughters. One teaches, one works at Skidmore College and has a great website called Artisanity and my youngest is in the Masters program to pursue teaching.
