2000 Young Miss North Carolina Sensational Miss
Allison Matthews is a pageant veteran...but this was her first time competing in the State Pageant!
Allison is the thirteen year old daughter of Harry and Debbie Matthews of Coats, North Carolina. She is in the eighth grade at Coats-Erwin Middle School where she is a member of the Jr. Beta Club, All County Choir, and the "Principal's List." She has also recieved the Academic All-Star and Terrific Kid Awards!
Allison stays VERY busy...but during her free time, she enjoys dancing, singing, talking on the phone (what teen doesn't?), cheerleading, swimming, and playing softball! She hopes to attend the University of NC at Chapel-Hill and become a Pediatrician. She hopes of successfully balance her career and loving family.
Allison is very familiar with Community Service and Volunteer work. She recieved the Community Service award from the Erwin Area Chamber of Commerce. She most recently has helped to serve lunches at a local soup kitchen.
