02/23/02 Hellraiser Hark, the TCW Champion, has been on a roll of late. He has held the TCW belt since July 2001, and also for the majority of that time was the driving force of the TCW Tag Team Championship.....up until the debocle of his former partner Pitbull Kevin Dark in a match against the Overboyz. Last week proved to be no different as Hellraiser easily manhandled the much smaller and basically decrepid Sonny Burnett. But the big thrill of the night for the Fury Fans was when Hellraiser humiliated Kevin Dark by cutting his hair in the middle of the ring! This match caused the Fury to boil over because it was hair vs. mask, with Kevin Dark vs. Dr. X. If Dark won, X had to de-mask, and Dark would get 10 minutes alone with Commissioner Paul Lewis. From the get-go, we at the Fury Staff knew that this was crap, because the special guest referee was none other than Gary Tool with a special stipulation one night only contract. The Commissioner was made a fool of by the supposed Dr. X taking the fall and allowing Dark to pin him and when removing the mask, it was that dopey ass Striker underneath the hood! Hellraiser charged the ring going to work on Tool but Tool and Striker were able to brawl their way to the back and apparently escape the wrath of the Furious One. With Dark giving chase to Paul Lewis and eventually catching him in the ring, Hellraiser reappears in time before any serious damage is done, jumps his former partner rendering him unconscious with his championship belt, and shaving the head of the Puppy Kevin Dark. The intensity of last week carried over into this week and was even multiplied. We at the Fury Staff strongly recommend that any wrestling fan come see the wide open style of TCW wrestling. Not for the timid, but for the hard core. Tonight's show was one to suit any hard core professional wrestling fan, and with Hellraiser defending his title against Dr. X, the intensity in the air could be felt like a weight on everyone's shoulder. As Hellraiser made his grand Champion entrance facing his opponent already in the ring, he is unfairly accosted by mister dopey Striker from behind and uncerimoniously thrown into the ring to the awaiting Dr. X. But we the followers of the Furious One, steadfastly remained confident that our Champion would quickly turn it around and give just as good as what he got given to him. The history of these two combatants dates back almost three years now, longer than Hellraiser's site has been in existance! Everyone know going in to this match that it would be one of who could withstand the most punishment absorbed. Eventually as both men lay flat in the ring, the Commissioner Paul Lewis made his presence known by admonishing the referee. Gary Too....uh hm, Dr. X....for no reason at all, stuck his nose in the way of the Commissioner doing his job, but then turned back in to the awaiting Hellraiser with belt in hand. Unfortunately he was able to evade the attack of Big, Bad, and Mad, turn the tables, and use the belt to his own advantage, putting the Champion down for the three-count. Paul Lewis, being the ever consumate official of TCW, immidately called for the stipulation in the TCW rulebook, stating that any masked man must reveal himself to at least the Commissioner in private, or the Championship is null voided. Dr. X, and we ALL know that Dr. X is Gary Tool, who is still banned from TCW due to a loser leave town stipulation, refused after a lot of whining about having to demask himself and reveal his true identity. Therefore, on technicality, Hellraiser Hark, the Furious One, Champion of Champions, still remains YOUR TCW Heavyweight Champion! Thank you, and good night! 02/10/02 A guestbook has been added for your thoughts or reviews of our news each week. 02/10/02 Friday night, with build up and anticipation just after the first intermission, it is announced that Hellraiser Hark will be the forced partner of Al Jackson in a mandantory title defense of the Texas Tag Team Championship due to the 60-day stipulation. With both Steve Moody and Al Jackson dramatically disapproving of this decision, it is also announced that they will be defending against former Texas Tag Champs, JP Black and Mike Thunder. This is yet another blunder decision made by promoter Ken Taylor. The animosity between Hark and Black Attack has been evident for some time now. As Hellraiser made his way to the ring, it was obvious for all to see that he was not a willing participant with this combination in match up. With his change of demeanor last week, it was apparent that even though it was a chance for him to be a part of a championship, it's obvious to the Fury Staff that this was just another slap in the face to Hellraiser from Ken Taylor. Sure, you want a shot at gold, well you get it for one night only, though. But Hellraiser, being the competitor that he is, entered the ring with the utmost confidence. But in the ensuing brawl, Al Jackson and Hellraiser stumble into one another, causing themselves to be distracted from the task at hand, and turning their frusteration on each other. Jackson shoves Hellraiser, and Hellraiser responds with a thunderous left to his head, placing Al Jackson uncomfortably on his ass. Following with a statement, "I didn't ask for this, so stay out of my way and let me do my job." For a brief moment, Hellraiser and Jackson were putting the fire to JP and Thunder, but just as Hellraiser was seeming to apply his patented chicken wing power slam, Al Jackson makes the tag, not allowing the viscious maneuver to be applied. This doesn't fare well for the combination because Thunder and Black are able to turn the tide and place the defenders completely on the defense. With the start of a jumbled rumble, along with interference by Steve Moody, Thunder with his quick decisive maneuvering ability is able to stun the Furious One and gain the victory and the Texas Tag Team Championship with the pin. But as Hellraiser is recovering, Al Jackson being very upset, confronts him and the two stand in the ring face to face arguing with each other. Steve Moody slips in a low blow and the two procede to lay the boots to Hellraiser. Still feeling the rush of victory, JP Black and Mike Thunder rush back to the ring with the belts in hand to stop the enslaught on Hellraiser. As Moody and Jackson leave the ring saying it's not over yet, Hellraiser raises the new champs' hands and says "It is over for you, because these are the new Texas Tag Champs!" With a show of gratitude and a handshake, Hellraiser leaves the ring, letting the new champs, letting the new champs absorb all the accolades they deserve from the fans. This will be Hellraiser's last appearance at the NWA Southwest. Saturday night, wrestling fans of Mineral Wells were completely shocked, along with the wrestlers of Texas Outlaw Promotions, as Hellraiser came from the crowd to completely disrupt their Heavyweight Championship match. Showing no biase to either of the competitors with his Fury, Hellraiser storms in, pushing the Champ, Wade Walker, off the top rope, delivering his high-flying clothesline to the challenger Hellhammer, and then to each, his patented chicken wing powerslam, combined with Hellraiser's version of a ring dance, stomping the daylights out of anyone still in the ring. As he reveals himself to the crowd, he reveals his intention to the TOPS organization. With the backing of Mr. Venom, he is there to proclaim his dominance. Sporting the TCW Heavyweight Championship Belt, he offers it up to anyone who feels they can take it from him. With this revelation he also tells Hellhammer that he doesn't know the meaning of the word Hell, but Hellraiser will take him there, and show him what it feels like to Feel the Fury! As the crowd sits in dismay, Hellraiser leaves them with his final words, and we all know them, "You better put your game face on because it's time to play. And in this game, I bring the violence!" 02/05/02 Saturday night at TCW was the tournament for the tag team championship. Hellraiser was almost disqualified from the tournament by Commissioner Paul Lewis due to the fact that Hellraiser's partner, Puppy Pitbull Kevin Dark was a no-show! Speculation here at the Fury Staff is that Kevin Dark did this in retaliation to the treatment he received from Hellraiser the prior week for losing his redemption match against the Phat Samoans. Lewis said since Hellraiser's partner was not there he could not compete. Hellraiser said that there was no way in hell he would NOT compete in the Tag Team Tournament. Furthermore, he stated that since Paul Lewis had failed to book someone to replace Kevin Dark that Paul Lewis would replace Kevin Dark! The commissioner tried to squirm his way out of it, but Hellraiser reassured him that it was all under control. After all, he is the TCW Heavyweight Champ! And everyone knows who carried them when he & Dark were Tag Team Champs! Slightly reluctant, Paul Lewis agreed and their first match was against the Phat Samoans. Hellraiser basically lived up to his promise that he would take care of almost everything. Paul Lewis hardly spent any time in the ring, only when it was the very most opportunistic would Hellraiser & Lewis tag so that he could be in the ring. Some would call it luck. We at the Fury Staff say that once again Hellraiser was on his game, as the Furious One was able to reverse Epi and throw him into the dazed Paul Lewis, thus foiling the Samoans' version of the 3D, with Hellraiser gaining the pin on Epi. Setting the stage for the finals, Hellraiser and Lewis worked in conjunction with distraction and interference in the other first round match-up between Dr. X and Striker and Mike Thunder and Seth Shai. Lewis made an appearance during the match enraging Dr. X to the point of chasing him to the back, and while Striker stood in disbelief, Hellraiser snuck up from behind and put him on the mat with a reverse DDT. This allowed Thunder & Shai to gain the victory, unaware of the interference that had occurred. We think that Hellraiser figured Thunder & Shai would be the better match-up in his favor; much better odds than with the 300+ pounders Dr. X and Striker! As the finals began, Thunder & Shai were able to utilize their quickness and agility to manipulate the situation to their advantage. They were somewhat successful in keeping Hellraiser out of the ring and dishing out punishment upon Paul Lewis. But Lewis was able to get out of a bad situation with some well-placed low blows, offering him just enough time to make the tag to Hellraiser. Hellraiser of course, fared much better than Paul Lewis did with Thunder & Shai. Dealing out punishment Hellraiser style, he showed the TCW fans what a true Heavyweight Champion can do! But to give Thunder & Shai their due, after all, we are talking about a former World Junior Heavyweight Champ in Thunder, and both men were trained by Hellraiser. This worked to their advantage. This only worked for a short time. Hellraiser's fury was strong, but then out of the back, Striker & Dr. X came and assaulted Paul Lewis, running him into the pole, busting him open, and then carrying him to the back. This was just enough distraction for Hellraiser that it gave Thunder & Shai the opportunity to deliver two devistating maneuvers, putting the Heavyweight Champ down, gaining the victory and becoming the new TCW Tag Team Champions. 02/02/02 Could it be possible that we have seen the fatal fraction of the Furious Faction? The events of Friday night can only be interpreted as the tell tale signs of a break up. John Allen and Brett Bonz seem to have voted Hellraiser Hark out of the organization that was created by him and named after him. Bonz and Allen make their way to the ring, making the statement that's been made before, that the Furious Faction is a dominating force in the NWA Southwest. Along with listing their accomplishments and goals, one of their goals was the Texas Tag Team Championship. But the manager of Black Attack, the current Texas Tag Champs, Steve Moody, interrupts and says that although it doesn't matter who they face, the Furious Faction isn't a cohesive enough team to deserve a shot at the Texas Tag Titles. Enter Hellraiser. The Furious One makes his way to the ring looking more confused than ever. He says although the Faction has been having problems, he still considers them to be a unified force. But yet Bonz & Allen make challenges without consulting or inviting Hellraiser to be a part of. An arguement quickly ensues between the three Faction members. One of the last things heard was Allen saying that he and Bonz are the Furious Faction. Moody once again interrupts with a smirk on his face, saying that he will grant a title match next week to the Furious Faction. Hellraiser looks on still confused, as Bonz and Allen give eachother the high five. Later in the show as Hellraiser defeats Chris Jeckyll, Bonz charges the ring taking Hellraiser down with a thunderous chair shot to to back. Allen then picks up Hellraiser, shoots him across the ring into the swinging chair that Bonz is still wielding. John Allen, possesing the chain that the Faction has made famous, then goes to work on Hellraiser's head, rendering the big man busted open and bloodied. The assault continues on Hellraiser (and Jeckyll for no reason) but is stopped short by Mike Thunder, flying in the ring wielding a chair of his own. As Hellraiser leaves the ring, wearing the crimson mask, we at the Fury Staff knew that it was not over. The next match was Thunder's, and as he was having his hand raised in victory, Bonz and Allen crashed the ring and began a furious assault on Thunder. Then, Hellraiser storms in and begins to attack what I guess we could say are his former partners, the Fraction. He then gets the mic, says he's had enough. "Right now, tonight, the two of you against Hellraiser!" Thunder then adds that there is unfinished business between him and the Fraction, and suggests they make it a tag match! The match begins in a frenzy and never really leaves that mode, and as it spills to the floor, senior NWA Southwest referee Phil Brown deems it out of control. The four combatants though, took no heed to the bell ringing or to the referee's instruction. Other wrestlers fill the ring, but their tempers flair and it turns into an all out free-for-all brawl. That combination of lard, pubescence, and antiquity (the NWA Southwest security team) tries to break it up, but only seems to add extra stress to the ring supports. The maylay finally dies down as the competitors separate themselves, and only time will tell how this will be written down in Faction history. Who will be the tag team that are supposedly facing Black Attack next week? Will Hellraiser allow it to be a combination without him? Will there even be a Furious Faction as we know it next week? |
