| 13th November, 2003: Happy Birthday to me! Yup, it's that time of the year again when I get to celebrate and everything is about ME! I had a good time, even though it was a sticking hot day and I was on a stall at a primary school fete...anyway that's a WHOLE other story. Not really Eddings news but I thought you would all like to know. 24th September, 2003: As I said on the home page, I've finally touched "The Eldar Gods" with my bare hands. It's still only in hardback and doesn't come cheap. The store I was in had it for $50 (Aus), which I thought was a bit much, even for an Eddings. I ain't made of money here! Anyway, I'll borrow it from the library and give you a review soon. I'll also scan in the brand spanking new map that comes with the story. There are some pretty neat pictures in it too which I'll also try and scan for y'all. If anyone already has a review, you're more than welcome to send it on in. The Eldar Gods has been released and is finally available at Amazon.co.uk. However, there are three different Eldar Gods books, each coming out on different dates. I think these must be different editions. You can still order the hardback edition online. Please notify me if you see the new book in stores because i checked today and there was no sign of it in my store. It might just be that store however. Anyway, keep me posted if you find out anything new. 15th June, 2003: There's ANOTHER all new cover for The Eldar Gods. February, 2003: Thanks to Marike (Eddings Codex) and Amazon.co.uk, we finally have an image of the most recent cover for The Eldar Gods, Book One of The Dreamers. And here it is: This may not be the final cover but it gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect of the cover and the story. (N.B. This is the cover you should expect to see in Australia. Not sure about any other countries. Could people please confirm their covers?) |
