The Manhunt International - Best National Director 1999 went to China - Mr Jerry Zhang. The first runner-up to India - Mrs Maureen Wadia and the second runner-up to Iceland - Ms Elin Glesdottir. Congratulations!!! for a job well done. THE LATIN HEARTTHROB FROM CARACAS Charming Ernesto, 24 years, hails from Caracas, Venezuela in South America. Venezuela is well known for exporting oil and beauty queens. And lately their gorgeous looking guys like Ernesto, who is fast making heads turn. Ernesto won the Mr. Venezuela 1998 contest last October and was to represent Venezuela in Mr. World 1999. He never had any idea that he would end up in the Manhunt International 1999 Contest. It was faith that the original contestant could not go at the eleventh hour. And he was asked to represent Venezuela, just two weeks before the Manhunt International 1999 Contest. And faith brought him to Manila, where he wooed the lady judges to beat 42 other equally great looking guys to become the sixth Manhunt International winner and the first from Latin America. Coming from a family of five, he is the eldest child to parents who are custom officers. He has a pair of younger twin brother and sister. Ernesto is currently completing his degree in AquaCulture. Standing at 1.86 meters, he models part time to earn extra money. He enjoys swimming, wide-water rafting, working out at the gym and meeting people from all walks of life. His favorite color is black and enjoys romantic movies. When asked if the most beautiful women come from Venezuela? He was quick to reply that the guys are equally as attractive and good looking. In fact the reigning Mr. World, Sandro Finnochio who is also from Venezuela, was first runner up of Manhunt International 1997 held in Singapore. This latest Latin heartthrob is not only charming, but articulate, a perfect gentleman and definitely a ladies man. His ideal life partner should be one that is attractive with a head firmly on her shoulders. She should share the same interests with him and also independent. Ernesto desires to be famous and winning Manhunt International will be his first step in realizing that dream. Well Ernesto, the World is waiting and so are the ladies. |
