The HHS Ex-Students Association will conduct its Annual Reunion on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at the Walker County Fairgrounds Main Building beginning at 5:30 p.m. until approximately 11:00 p.m.  Dinner and dancing will be featured.   Hornet year groups: 1939, 1944, 1949, 1954, 1959, 1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004 and 2009 will be honored.  All Hornets and Hornet classes are invited to attend, however.  We will have a catered meal, recorded music and dancing.  If you prefer "Adult Beverages", BYOB applies as that part of Walker County is still "dry".  We will provide ice and soft drinks as setups, however.  Letters with registration forms will be mailed to members (and non-members who attended this year's reunion) on or about May 1, 2009.  The registration fee to cover our expenses is $13.00 per person for HHSESA members and $15.00 for non-members (including spouses & guests who are not members of HHSESA).  Pre-registration is required! If you want to attend and do not receive a letter and forms by May 15, 2007 please contact Mickey, and he will get them to you.  Registrations must be received by Monday July 11, 2009 to ensure we have enough food and drink ordered. Please join us this year.  (8/5/2008)
If your class is planning a reunion in 2009, please let us know and we will post the details on this page.  You may also contact The Huntsville Item to post details in their Best Bets section.  Contact the paper through the link at Home for details, email them at newsroom@itemonline.com, or call them at: (936) 295-5407.    Contact Mickey at msevans@suddenlink.net for assistance.   (8/5/2008)
Key Ex-Hornets
We highly encourage HHS classes and groups to plan their summer reunions for the third Saturday every July.  And, we also highly encourage you to include the HHSESA Annual Reunion on Saturday evening as part of your reunion activities.  It's already planned and resourced at the fairgrounds, and you get to meet other Hornets from other classes and groups.  Membership in the HHSESA is not required for attendance, but we do encourage your membership as well as the contributions of your time, talent and treasure to make the HHSESA more successful.  (8/5/2008)
