SFA Windjammer was a Regional Top Five Sweepstakes Yearling, then
entered training with Bubba Long late in 1996. Within six months he had
blue ribbons in Western Pleasure, Hunter Pleasure Junior Horse, and
Hunter Pleasure AAOTR. He was also a Regional finalist in the Amateur
Bonanza program in both Pleasure Trail and Country English Pleasure,
against far more experienced horses. He has been on an Endurance ride
and a Competitive Trail ride - and was so well mannered that he garnered
many compliments, such as "I can't believe he's a stallion!" He is our
pride and joy!The Chief Justice was a multiple National winner, and sire of many
winners in halter and performance; his daughters are sought after as
premiere broodmares. His sire, *Bask, needs no introduction, having
been the first sire to produce over 1,000 foals, and held that
distinction for nearly ten years. His dam, Sey Cherie, was a wonderful
broodmare and producer of champions.Winterset is an Aristocrat producer, being the dam of multi-National
>winner New Market; SFA War Chief, Nat'l Res. Champion English Pleasure
>Futurity; Canadian Champion and US Res. Ch. Futurity Filly
SFAWindchime; Regional Sweepstakes Champion Yearling SFA Windfall; and
Regional Western Pleasure Champion SFA Legend. Winterset is by the
legendary broodmare sire *Eter, and out of Iberia de Washoe - a full
sister to the noted race broodmare Flaming Emotion.
