In 1998, Julia Bryan acquired the farm and property in North Carolina which is now Hilltop Acres, and relocated her herd from the farm which was formerly in Arkansas.  The facility is located in Gastonia, just west of Charlotte and 20 minutes from the airport.  The property consists of 45 acres, largely surrounded by forest, with miles of riding available, and an 18-stall Morton barn.  In addition to breeding Arabians, Julia boards, handles medicalafter-care, foals out mares, and does a limited amount of outside training.

The Arabian breeding program is focused on blending the lines of Comet, *Naborr, *Bask and El Magato to produce exceptionally typey and athletic individuals.  Our foundation sire, SFA Windjammer, carries *Bask through his sire, The Chief Justice, and Comet blood through his dam Winterset, via *Eter.  Our mares add El Magato and *Naborr blood, and most of them also have *Bask in their pedigree.  The addition of Crabbet and Spanish lines in Windjammer's background seems to add the finishing touch of beauty and smoothness to his offspring.

Hilltop Acres is an Arabian Discovery Farm, and visitors are   always welcome.  The farm is conveniently accessible from both Interstate 85 and 321.  We recommend calling ahead if you plan to stop by, so we can be sure to be here.
