Hockey Road Trip, Fall 2004
Week One - Southwest
Sat, 10/16 - Fri, 10/22
Friday, 11/5 continued
The end of Week Three ended quite nicely as the Grrrowl beat the Stingrays 7 - 1 at N. Charleston Coliseum.
Week Two - Texas
Sat, 10/23 - Fri, 10/29
Notes:

- I went up and said hello to Chris, again (radio guy).  He still wasn't able to do a shout out.  Disappointed.  He's a nice enough, in fact, a very pleasant guy.  Couldn't really get mad.  He's just doing his job.  I understand he calls the game very well.

- The clock on the center scoreboard got stuck at 16:03 in the first period.  One of my penalty times may be off on my scoresheet.

- One of the between period entertainment this game was figure skaters from the Ice Palace.  Very nicely done.  Much better than the portapotties.

- Trevor Johnson (captain for the Stingrays) got injured at the end of the first period.  I didn't see what happened.  He never came back out on the ice.  One of the fans sitting by me said he heard Trevor had been taken to the hospital.

- Carvel ice cream!

- I sat two sections to the left of the Cotton Eye Joe dancer.

- There was a defensive meltdown by the Stingrays in this game.  They gave up 3 goals in the second; 4 in the third.  Although I prefer a more evenly played game, it was a well needed win for the Grrrowl.  The Grrrowl are now 2 - 5.
