THE CHURCH OF GOLD

Golden Investments for golden humans

This page is new and under construction. Someone jokingly asked if our faith is "In GOLD We Trust." Actually, gold has always represented the precious... The concept that "Greed is Good" got a really bad association because of the "character" of the character giving the speech, in the movie "Wall Street." (I think it was Michael Douglas.) As with any other ad hominem argument, his sleaziness does not make the truth less true. Harry wrote long ago, "Money is powerful medicine!"

Coming soon: information on wealth for (and through) pennies and information on how Harry lost thousands of dollars in the commodities markets - and you can too! Actually if you are interested in commodities options and futures contracts, Harry would love to hear from you. He studied under Ken Roberts and lost $4,000 plus expenses. Now he is studying under Larry Williams, and is optimistic...

Coming later: Harry's adventures in the insurance industry... (He returned to librarianship very quickly after trying it)

Latest Debacle: Harry came home very mentally weary and physically wiped from a long day of moving the library (to its temporary location - see "Resume" page.) A "very good at what he does" telemarketer phoned and described an irresistable program of information packages and "mentoring" support that would make Harry rich in no time at all.

Harry wondered, in retrospect, if he had been hypnotized (the salesman spoke of advanced degrees in psychology, and was a master at creating empathy) because it was so against his nature to agree to spend $995.00 (!!!) for this program. He came to his senses the next day, called the company to cancel, and for two months has been speaking to them, the vendors they "subcontracted" subscriptions through (he refused delivery of all related packages) and his credit card company to get this thing squared away. He is paying interest on a (rounded off) thousand bucks in the meantime. This financial advisor definitely has feet of clay! Most precious advice you will find for handling your hard earnded money: BE CAREFUL!
