Everyone in the community is invited to participate in our organization even if you have just a few hours a month! You do not need to be an "expert" in a field ... just a person who loves this area and cares about this land.
OUT OF STATE and OUT OF TOWN volunteers are welcome. If you are a part-time resident, please email us and let know which committee you would like to assist. We can use help with all kinds of things like fundraising, research and contacts that do not require you to be physically in town.

Attend Government Meetings |
|
|
|
|
|
We need citizens to attend local government meetings to see what our elected officials are up to, and give the officials feedback or comments on matters they are addressing. The Land Use Regulations Committee is seeking volunteers to sign up to attend these meetings. People will rotate so no one has to attend them all the time. Please email us if you want to volunteer

If you are a resident of Huerfano County, please register to vote. Besides participating in elections, you will be able to sign legal petitions that we may need to submit to our County Commissioners in the future. Do succumb to apathy! We are and will be making a difference in Huerfano County as we band together! |
