I found a possible publisher for the kind oīcomics I do: Drawn and Quarterly. They publish some of Harvey Pekarīs stuff. Not that that means anything to you. But heīs good. Worked with Crumb. Oh, never mind.

wherever I go, there you are

Frankly I find travel writing annoying. I dislike being bound to the temporal flow, I think. I find it limiting. This probably just means I need to edit harder, or dump linearity altogether and get more impressionistic. Dunno. Anyway, I hope you donīt find these as stilted as I do. I do understand the allure of imagining friends in exotic locales. So here they are. Whether I like it or not.

Taxco
A short and impressionistic entry from my journal. Includes picture of my journal with drawing of a cabbage patch doll to explain to my german friend Silvia exactly what she missed out on in the early 80s. A must-see.

Mexico City
Helluh long, but I actually like the writing. I go to Frida Kahlo's house and chase pyramids. I have pics on film, and if my ass unlazies itself, I'll try to get a few scanned at school.
