Objectives, Goals, and all that other stuff you hear about but nobody wants to tell you what it means or what you can do to help. Measuring with precision-accuracy within 1/16th of an inch is the goal The Objective-Expose students to the concepts of measurment and acuracy The steps we will take-half inch, quarter inch, eigth inch, and sixteenth inch. We have already learned halves and fourths by creating paper building blocks and expanded to eigths in the magic books. Now, through observation using the rulers we have and (not the rulers we would like to have) we are learning to count to sixteen. |
