Immaculate Conceptions, Inc. is a unique name
for an extraordinary company. The variety of work produced ranges from miniature
items and molds to life-size detailed pieces to enormous, larger than life
props and models.
Their work can be seen at Universal Studios Florida, Disney/MGM Studios,
Planet Hollywood Restaurants around the globe, and on TV shows such as Sheena,
SeaQuest DSV and Mortal Kombat: the series.
The elephant pictured is one which shows some of their restoration techniques.
The internal framework was repaired, with new shocks for the suspension in
the legs, new nostrils and ears, and complete retouching and repair to the
elephant hide. This elephant was returned to Planet Hollywood in Orlando
and remains a part of their display.
Immaculate Conceptions, Inc. can create intricate silicone molds and parts,
and there is very little that their skillful team cannot do. From these molds
they're able to cast a wide range of materials, from hard rigid plastics
to crystal clear urethanes and soft, pliable polyurethane foam. Specialized
machines, such as the spray rubber machine or the fiberglass chop gun give
them the ability to produce specialized product -- quickly. Their processes
include the finishes and colors needed to make the item look and feel authentic,
grotesque, surreal, or simply out of this world.
In addition to all of this they also do life casting. This gives them the
ability to design and create customized costumes and wardrobe for the Film
and TV industry and for Halloween.
