India Rose's Bio Page!! @~{~

Hi!! My name is Katherine. I am 31 years old. My birthday is the 26th of April. I am currently living in Corpus Christi, TX. I have lived here for almost 14 years. My father was in the Air Force for 20 years so I had the opportunity to travel all over the world. I am single but I'm looking for the right "one". I know there is someone in this world for everyone, I am just waiting for that someone to appear!! :o)

I have a few things things that I like to do which can be considered my hobbies. I love to read. It doesn't matter if it's a book, a magazine, or a newspaper. I love to read anything I can get my hands on. There are so many good books to read in this world it's a great shame it's not possible to read every single one of them. I am also a great movie buff. I think the best movies to watch nowadays are the independent features rather than the big blockbuster movies that are released by the big studios. One of the funniest movies I have seen has got to be "The Full Monty". If you love to laugh than this movie is highly recommended. My favorite movie of all time has got to be "A Room With A View". It is one of the most romantic movies that I have ever seen. If you consider yourself a true romantic than you must make an effort to see this movie. Pay close attention to the very last scene, that is the best part of the movie, in my opinion. Some of the older movies are also good. Who could ever forget Marlon Brando's performance as Stanley in "A Streetcar Named Desire"!! Or those immortal lines that he spoke in the movie "STELLA". Or Vivien Leigh's performance as the alcoholic sister named Blanche. She was also great in "Gone With The Wind". That is another one of my favorite films. I love to go dancing, listen to all kinds of music, or just hang out with friends. I love to shoot pool as well, it's just a great shame I'm not that good at it. But as they say, practice makes perfect!! :o)

I have a variety of things that I am interested in. I would love to take classes in art history. There are so many beautiful paintings in this world. It's amazing how a painting can look like nothing but globs of paint up close but when u stand back and take another look at it, it's something of great beauty!!! My favorite artist is Dante Gabriel Rossetti. He was one of the founding members of the Pre-Raphelite Brotherhood. I had the opportunity to see some of his paintings at the Tate Gallery in London a few years back. I also had the chance to see "The Lady of Shallot" and "Ophelia", two other great paintings that I love. I would also love to study English history or literature. I am deeply fascinated with English history. Especially the medieval period. I had the opportunity to live in England for 4 years and I loved every minute of it. I hope someday I will have the chance to go back. I also lived in Italy for a few years. I was greatly impressed with the people and the history of that country when I lived there. We traveled all along the Amalfi Coast. Oh it was so beautiful!! I want to someday go back to Italy and visit the Tuscany region. I have seen numerous photos of the region and it is truly amazing!! I had the chance to go to Rome on my 10th birthday and that visit is something that I will always remember. It left such a great impression on me! Someday I hope I will have enough money to travel anywhere in the world that I want. There is nothing I would ask for in this world besides access to all the books I can read and the chance to travel anywhere in the world without having to worry about money. That would be heaven for me! :o)

In case you are wondering where the name India Rose comes from, I have always loved the name India for a little girl and I thought Rose went well with it. Thus India Rose. I did not pick the name India Rose because I am Indian or from India I just simply love the name. If I have offended anyone I apologize. :o)

I have added another page with some of my favorite links. Some of the links reflect interests that I mentioned up above. i.e. the Rome and London links, and the painting links. I have also added some other links for things that I like. I added the Ticketmaster link because I think it can be quite useful to some people. I have added links to some of my favorite music groups. Ian Moore is a from Austin. He plays mostly blues/rock. I love him !! I think he has an amazing voice!! I also love the group Tool and Enigma. The Enigma site is an enigma all it's own. It is highly recommended that u take a look at it if u are a fan of this kind of music. I have also added a link to an Eeyore page that I thought was quite good. For those of u who don't know who Eeyore is, he is a character from Winnie the Pooh. His most famous line is "Thanks for noticin me". I think he is extremely adorable so I decided my link page would not be complete if I did not add an Eeyore site. I have also added links to my little sister Veronica's web page. It's very good. I highly recommend u take a look. I also added a link to my best friend Cricket's page. The Oikhalia page is an internet friend's page. He has a very good page so if u have a chance to take a look that would be great. I hope u find something of interest on my links page. I plan on changing them from time to time.
