Fly fishing on Bull Creek-Fun with a 3-4 Weight rod as long as it has rained enough.  I am spotting fish (up top) for my dad (in the water).  They like Olive Wooly Buggers and Nymphs here in the Spring and Summer.  I also fish here during lunch along Bull Creek since I work within walking distance.

Locations to fish on the Guadalupe are from River crossing #3 on River Road off of Hwy 306 and Huaco Springs for bank and wadding.  A kayak is good in these spots as well.  Stay off the private property though.

this has a lot of places to fish and resources, including my favorite local river, San Gabriel North and South Forks.  I have been able to fish Bull Creek during my lunch hour though.

I included a picture above from 2005 of my first fish caught on the Salt Flats near Port Aransas.  Good places to fish salt water are just before the Ferry going towards Port Aransas and then past Port Aransas going towards Corpus Christi, there are a lot of places to fish just off the main road.  Fish the Intercoastal Waterway/Bay side and not the beach/Gulf side.  The Lighthouse kayak trails are good as well if you have or rent a kayak.  I recommend calling Dean at
Slow Ride Kayak Tours.  You can check out Port Aransas by clikcing hereFor the tide schedule click here
