See! Sparkly! And Jon--as you can tell from the wicked smile on his face--is an English Soccer Fan Hooligan, complete with handcuffs, an Arsenal Jersey, and fake wounds: a bloody scar, fake stiches, and a beautifully done bruise. Well done us. I would love to put Kelly up here with her very "high maintainence" vampire (or, as I like to call it, a very Buffy-esque vamp), but I think I better get her permission first. Jon, however, has no choice! |
The kitchen was that horrible "institution-off white color" with trim that was different shades of white. And the paint job was very half-assed, with spackle spots visible all over. This paint made a world of difference! |

My (third) Apartment here in Worcester Mass. The plan is that this section will display the gradual redecoration of my latest apartment. I first did my room (which I will take a picture of when it's clean). Next came the kitchen, as seen below. The photo came out a little dark, but it looks pretty good, no? As my roommate, friends, and parents can attest: it looks a hell of a lot better than an it did before! My next project will be to paint the living room. But if I were you, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for that to happen. |
I had my heart set on a wig for this Halloween, and so I came up with the concept of being "sparkly." Being an adjective was very freeing and fun. I highly recommend it. Maybe I'll be an adverb next year.... |
This year Thanksgiving was about more than just turkey. My good friend Globe-Trotting Kelly married Durand (uran), and people came from all over the world (as far as Singapore, in fact) to celebrate the day. |
PRETTY FLOWERS |
Look! As an example at just how sweet Jon is, he surprised me with this bouquet of flowers. Let's all say it together now: AWWWWWWWWWWW! |
Pictures of my new bedroom in Jamaia Plain. Eventually I'll put up pictures of the entire apartment. |
