Lace
Yep, you guessed it Mom taught me how to make lace, tatted lace to be exact. One day, when I was around 10, my aunt sent a package that contained some shuttles and a book on tatting. Well, if you've tried learning to shuttle tat with a book you probably found it was impossible. My mom, an amazing and talented woman, was able to show me how! Always inspired to make beautiful things, I learned to make Bobbin Lace by taking a series of classes at The Lace Museum, in Sunnyvale, CA. I am now taking classes from Louise Colgan, a local teacher.
