Sewing, Quilting and Knitting by Machine

Mom taught me to sew too!  I like making all sorts of things -- clothing for me and my girls.  I also like making costumes (for halloween, of course), doll clothes and toys!

I started quilting in 1994 after getting married (and settling down?), but before having kids.  You probably know the rest of the story, ha, ha!  I've made several wall quilts, have one quilt top pieced, and one lap quilt layered and in the process of being hand quilted.  Since having kids I've opted for more "interrupt-able" hobbies like knitting.  I hope to get back some solitary time for quilting soon!

It's 2004 and after all the hand knitting, spinning and weaving I decided I needed to try knitting by machine.  I "borrowed" my mil's bulky and it was downhill from there.  Not long after I got a ribber for it and lo and behold a "friend" just happened to have a std electronic that she wasn't using!  Then I bought a ribber for that!  And I'm only just getting started.  Here's some links that have been helpful to me.
