Whats New with JL.

.....Summer right around the corner and all is well. i was checking out the new search engine BING.COM" and it has some nice features that let you see what is on each link just by hovering your pointer over each link on the search page.

.....just went through a few days of hot weather(high 90s')even for California in May. Back to normal now mid-70s' the way i like it.

.....Looking into Blogger as a new home away from home to leave my comments. Will keep you posted on that.

.....Yahoo! has decided to close GeoCities later this year.
After 8 years here at GeoCities, its time to look for a new place to make my mark on the web. I could keep this site if I choose to pay for it but I'll have to think about that. AOL had closed the Hometown sites last year too.

.....We won! i mean the Red Sox won todays game 8-2 with the oakland A's.

.....OK, its been awhile. Nothing new or interesting to write here. The Red Sox are having a really bad start this season. Right now they are at the bottom of the American League-East. They are playing the A's in Oakland tonight and its tied 5-5 in the 5th. Red Sox lost last nights game 2-8 to the A's.

.....The weather has been really nice around here with temps' in the 70's. If you have an interest in volcanos as I do, you should check out the "Alaska Volcano Observatory" that has webcams and great photos of the volcanos in Alaska. Current activity of Mount Redoubt and some amazing night photos in the "Images" section.

.....What do you know, it's spring! Today is the first day of spring and it is friday. What more could you ask for except maybe win the lottery.

.....Fall in San Jose California and we have only had 0.12" of rain since July. Its really dry around here.

.....Summer is here and smoke is in the air. There are hundreds of fires in northern California causing smokey skies all around this area.

.....Long time no update. Went to the Red Sox game Sunday in Boston where they beat the Rays 7 to 3. It was cool, in the mid 40's but was a great game with a packed ball park. Added some pictures on FLICKR.

.....Where have I been? Not here in a while because there is not a lot to post about. Spring is right around the corner.

.....Its 2008, and we had 3 days of rain,wind and even some snow in the hills around San Jose. Mount Hamilton has a few inches of snow. Only about 2.5 inches of rain here in Fremont.

.....New England Pariots are number One, beating the Colts today 24-20. We had a earthquake last Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at 8:04:54 PM (PDT). It was the biggest we had in the bay area since 1989, but it was only 5.6 on the scale. No damage except for stuff falling off shelves, a few broken windows.

.....September is back to school for some, but not me. Its the back to traffic season now that every one is back from vacations and driving to work, or school. Its been a mild summer here in northern California, with the exception of fires all around, things have been quite nice.

.....Time flys...
Its mid-August and and I have not made any changes here in a long time. Looks like thats how its going to be for a while longer. Have fun...

.....Last day of July today.

.....Was back east in Worcester and Boston for the week of the 4th and had a great time with friends and family. The weather was very good except for a little rain on the early part of the 4th of July, but cleared up later. Added new pictures on the Flickr web site, so be sure to check that out.

.....weather has been about normal, 60's and 70's and dry. we only got about half the rain of normal this year.

.....Sorry, not anything to put here. I think I reached the end of the Internet, and can't get past the Youtube Channel.

.....Spring is here.

.....All is well...Except the price of gas that is...and maybe a few other things. We have the highest price in California at only a few cents away from $3.00 for regular and going higher what seems like every other day. On May 27, 2004,ARCO gasoline was 2.339/gal here.

.....Weather has been nice here since the last entry. Cherry Trees are blooming, and all is well. I been getting spammed in my guest book, so I disabled it. All the old entries are saved.

.....Its been a while, but still not much to talk about.
If you are thinking about upgrading to the >"MS Vista" on your PC, think again. OLD PC's just don't have enough speed and memory to handle it, and there are lots of conflict between the hardware and software.

.....Not much of an update today. The weather is about normal for this time of year. Peace.

.....New Year's Resolution number one is to not make any.
Starting off the year with cold weather is not a good start, but it is winter even if its California. Below normal cold mornings here makes for a slow start going to and at work. Weather man says its going to be below 30' tomorrow morning. I may have to hibernate(a state of regulated hypothermia undergone by some animals to conserve energy during the winter.)...
