He always used to fix us pancakes, bacon and eggs- all the grandkids lined up at the kitchen counter sitting on highstools. We loved it! Then we'd go ride the 50 or the 70, or maybe go swimming in Barbie and Debbie's pool. Sometimes we'd just take over his easychair and watch cartoons. He made great furniture and houses out of wood, and he made sure they were strong and would last. Nothing he ever did was halfway. Everything he made and everything he used lasted and lasted. And he wasted nothing- not money or water, or food, or time. We learned a lot from him.
He always said things to me like, "I'm sure proud of you, Jord", or "You're the best grandkids a Granpa could have".
