For those of you who would rather teach yourself Javascript and other programming languages instead of just getting snippets of code, this section was created for you. I recommend the following books if you would like to be a better programer. I have used or bought all of these books and think you should too. Something for everyone, from beginners guides to advanced programmer stuff. Best of all, you can purchase all this stuff online by clicking on the book that you want.

If you are just starting to program and would like to learn Javascript for yourself, I recommend the ABC's of Javascript. It teaches the basics of javascript in an easy and entertaining manner. (Order It).	If you have a little programming experience under your belt, check out Special Edition Using JavaScript. This book teaches the more advanced stuff and goes into other areas of programming, such as LiveWire. (Order It).
*If you want to go the next step and would like to learn Java for yourself, I recommend the Java by Example. It teaches the basics of java in a way that the layman can understand. (Order It).*	Closely related to JavaScript is DHTML. And there is no better book to teach you DHTML than award-winning Dynamic Html : The Definitive Referencet.
