My name is Karen Dean and I am the owner and editor of this magazine dedicated to one shoe (woman's Hi Heel that is), be it a loss or mishap or just step out of one temporary, with stories of non-fiction and of fiction written by myself and others, it also contains crosswords, word searches, and other games, there will also be fake adverts and cartoon strips. There will be interviews and discussions with anyone who is willing to take part. I will also be writing articles that deal with the feelings and emotions, when a shoe is lost, be it good or bad. There will be photos to back up the stories wherever possible. I will be getting a lot of help from my dear and old friend Nigel Cadman who has his own site and yahoo group. If anyone has a true story of loosing a shoe and would like it published here, please email me, or Nigel with the details.

Wearing high heels at work can be a shoe loss waiting to happen, be it in the office or at home, or doing a bit of DIY, better known as Distroy It Yourself. I work in an office and the black stilettos are great for that but not for clumbing ladders, as you can see my shoe came off.

I already have three stories and some other interesting things I'm sure you all will like. The stories are about a hen night, also a story about my friend Melissa's lost slingback (and boy was she mad about that) and another story about the day I had my black slingback shoe stolen at work. At the moment I'm working on some photos, also Nigel has writen all about a woman he saw wearing only one black mule and I have done some photos to go with it, at the moment he is not sure if he is going to put it on his site or mine. I will have to have a chat with him and see how convincing I can be.
