Neighbors

Condominiums are constructed similarly to apartments. The difference is that apartments are owned by a corporation. They have a central manager who handles leasing. With condominiums, each dwelling is owned and managed by a separate person.

People who own property tend to be older than average. It follows that many owners in Barcelona are older than average. The reason I'm mentioning this is because condominiums are not for everyone. If you are a quiet person, your neighbors will cherish you. Those who play loud music and or are obtrusive will not last long here. It is a characteristicly quiet place.

There's another difference between condos and apartments. Condominium residents CARE. They care about littering. They care about graffiti. They care about anything that remotely looks illegal. Nothing escapes their notice because they all own a piece of the property.

Are you still with me? Of course you are. None of that should make any difference if you are a quiet person with your own life. This is a safe, well maintained place.
