in text or html format. No WORD attachments please, the mail server does
not work well with them.

The 1st Houston Knights
fanfic writing Contest

The
Rules
1.- A story, about the show
"Houston Knights", with the classic
Fan Fiction format (that means story, not script) however, this doesn't
mean you can't put some good dialog in it.
2.- Minimum
of 5 pages.
Maximum
as much as your imagination demands (but No 200 page novels please, we
want to read them all.)
3.- Topic - Free
4.- No
Alternate Universe. This means no major changes in character
or main show plot. The story must have the potential to become a real episode
with a beginning, a plot, action and a logical sequence to reach an end.
However... Death Stories are allowed as long
as you warn the reader beforehand.
4.5.- No permanent
damage to the guys. If you are going to hurt them... please return them
as you found them with a nice epilogue or note. No maiming, no losing of
internal organs, no brain damage and no hair coloring, please.. the fans
worry when this happens. Unless it's a Death
Story. Just let us know in advance.
5.- Action.
Please put some action in it. We crave for bullets, explosions and non-fatal
injuries. It's not crucial to have all of these, but we'd like at least
one or two.
6.- Please make the story for
General audiences. No SLASH. We'll
make another contest for that kind of stories if this one works out.
7.- Please state
all the disclaimers, notes, spoilers and rating
at the top of your story.

and Feedback on their stories,
and absolutely no profit
will be made by the organizers.

The
Judges
This is the tricky
part.
The Judges will be the
readers...
How?
Well... The stories will
be posted for judgement without
revealing the name of
the author, thus keeping a fairness to
the contest and giving
everyone a chance to be ruled equally
without
prejudgements for other
stories previously written.
Again,
The name of the author
will not be displayed until the contest
is over and
there will be a voting
form for the reader to fill once the
reading is DONE.
